Dolls that talk back and kisses that travel a continent, technology is expanding the purview of pleasure like never before. Recently, a company was reported to develop a sex doll that can talk back at you. It’s creator Matt McMullen said the doll will be commercially available in two years, will cost $10,000 and will depend on Artificial Intelligence to communicate. Here’s looking at how emerging technology is enhancing pleasure.
Kiss Translation Device: A device that is being developed by the University of Electro Communications in Tokyo will let couples French kiss over long distances. The engineers working on it are trying to make it as realistic as possible and are focussing on elements like feel and moistness.
Teledildonics: Electronic sex toys have been around since the 80s. Now, they have been upgraded, so that intimate contact between two people can be established. The toys transfer the touch over a distance, making virtual lovemaking not only a possibility, but a pleasurable experience too.
Graphene condoms: A new material called Graphene is being developed that is thinner than the latex which condoms are manufactured with today. It is also stronger and safer, which gives the wearer the effect of not having worn a condom at all.
Apps: There are several apps with the capacity to add spice to your love life. The quirky recommendations and risqué scenarios that they offer, can help keep your sex life rocking.
Virtual Reality: A low-cost virtual reality headset along with contraptions that vibrate, aims to make virtual lovemaking more realistic. The company developing it is promoting the device to help the differently-abled as well.
